The Nintendo Switch is finally here! After months of hype and teases, the newest home console has hit the market. I wasn’t able to get my hands on a pre-order but my friend Ryan from Blueshirts Breakaway was. He was kind enough to record an unboxing video of the console, pro controller, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Without any further delay, let’s dig into Nintendo’s newest console and see what your purchase gets you.
I’ve put a fair share of mileage into Nintendo gaming over the years. NES, SNES, GameBoy, GameBoy Advance, GameCube… you get the picture. I actually went to an overnight line outside of a Target for the original Wii launch. Now that the Wii U has plenty of great games out and with the recent announcement that Nintendo’s next console, the NX, will be both a home console and a portable, I figured now was as good a time as any to buy a Wii U.
So, how does it compare to the Wii? How does the tablet controller work? Let’s find out.
A sale on the Mario Kart 8 bundle finally got me to bite.
After nearly two years and countless times saying that I would eventually do it, I’m finally the proud owner of an Xbox One. I knew the slate of games would overpower me and, thanks to Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and the recent announcement of backwards compatibility, that time has come. I’ve owned a PS4 since launch and played my Xbox 360 like a crazy person, so I’ll be comparing the Xbox One to both of those.
Without further adieu, here we go!
Oh, Marcus. How I’ve missed you.
