For Honor — Review

Remember when you were a kid and would argue over who would win in a fight between Batman and Superman or cowboys and ninjas?  Ubisoft’s latest game asks you a similar question: knights, vikings, or samurai?  For Honor was on my most anticipated list for 2017 and after almost 20 hours of play, the hype was real.  It’s a simple to learn, hard to master fighting game with some downright brutal combat.

Steep (PS4) — Beta Testing

I have great memories of playing snowboarding games like 1080 Snowboarding and SSX Tricky until the sun came up.  Steep has been on my radar for a bit and Ubisoft had an open beta this past weekend just ahead of the December 2 release date.  If you’re on the fence or just looking for some info during this packed holiday release season, look no further.

Grow Home (PS4) — Review

For the second game in my “taking a break from huge titles” series, I dove into Grow Home, a small game by Ubisoft.  It’s weird to see a game like this by such a huge company.  Two hours after buying it, I completed it.  The verdict?  A neat game with some cool mechanics if you can get it cheap.
